1. Thou Shalt not let stress & anxiety take over
Stress causes a change in hormones, this can result in unsightly breakouts. Put that stress and anxiety away, relax and try not to get worked up over the slightest issues. .. Volunteer, work out, watch a movie, find activities that can help you take a break from your hectic schedule.
2. Thou shalt get hydrated by drinking lots of water
Water helps us flush out many unwanted toxins out of our bodies, so it makes sense to drink up for healthy baby soft glowing skin!
3. Thou shalt not neglect to wear sunscreen
Slathering on some SPF 15 + is important because prolonged exposure to the sun’s harmful rays does result in long-term skin damage and premature ageing. Use an oil-free, unscented sunscreen that will not clog your pores and lead to a breakout.
4. Thou shalt not overwhelm your skin by using lots of product
If you’ve run out of your daily moisturizer, applying just any anti-aging cream is a big no-no! Slathering your face with various types of skin care products will just lead you to breakouts.
5. Thou shalt wash off your makeup at the end of everyday
Make-up, pollution and dirt can contribute to clogging up your pores. To keep your skin fresh, clean and pimple free, it’s very important to wash your face first thing in the morning and just before bed.
6. Thou shalt leave the pimple or blackhead alone
Do not attempt to squeeze and pick at a raw pimple, you will just end up irritating it, and leaving a permanent or temporary scar–that can take a long time to fade . Cover up with concealer and use a zit cream instead it will dry the pimple up.
7. Thou shalt only use the best and safest products
Just like you pay attention to what you eat, it’s is also important to find out what ingredients are used to make any beauty or cosmetic product you use. Remember, some shady cosmetic companies may use alternate names to try and get their unsafe cosmetics to pass safety standards!
8. Thou shalt use a gentle exfoliant to get smooth skin
Make use of a round micro-bead exfoliating product that will not tear away at your delicate skin. Exfoliating encourages new skin cell turnover and leaves you with baby soft skin!
9. Thou shalt not neglect other parts of your skin
Pay attention to other parts body such as your hands, neck, décolletage, e.t.c they are just as important and can also deteriorate if ignored -besides who doesn’t want smooth, glowing skin all over!
10. Thou shalt get at least 7.5 hours of sleep every night
It’’s a proven fact that our skin regenerates and we regain any energy lost as we sleep every night. Without enough sleep, the regeneration of skin is slowed, paving way for unwanted fine lines, puffy eyes and dark under eye circles…yikes!
