Oily Skin Benefits From Foundation Primer:

I have oily skin and it’s both a blessing and a curse. It’s good to have oily skin because it ages better than dry skin, but at the same time, it’s no fun when it comes to being more prone to breakouts and a shiny face (nobody finds a shiny face sexy!). It’s hard to maintain a fresh makeup look when your skin gets shiny 5 minutes after you’ve already applied your foundation and set it using a powder.

I was introduced to Bare Escentuals Prime Time Foundation Primer (Oil Control) by a good friend who also happens to be one of those friends that have every makeup product on earth! Although I do not wear foundation on a daily basis, when I do, I usually have a routine in place to ensure that my skin is taken care of first and foremost.

My Routine Before I apply Foundation:

1. Wash my face

2.Use Toner (to close the pores and remove pore clogging oil!)

3.Put on moisturizer

4. blot away excess with an oil blotting sheet

5. Put on Bare Escentuals Prime Time Foundation Primer (oil control)

6. Put on my foundation using a foundation brush

7. Set the foundation with clear powder

8. I am out the door!
